Thoracic endovascular therapy continues to evolve and with this evolution brings new technology and the requirement for resolution of ongoing controversies. The SET Thoracic Endovascular Session is designed to address these issues. Eric Roselli, MD (Cleveland Clinic Foundation) begins by presenting his extensive experience with hybrid endovascular therapy for thoracic aortic aneurysms. Next, Grayson Wheatley III, MD (Arizona Heart Institute) addresses the results and ongoing controversies regarding endovascular therapy for type B aortic dissection. Frank Arko, MD (University of Texas Southwestern) provides insights into the relative benefits of endovascular treatment of thoracic aortic and great vessel trauma. Finally, Vinod Thourani, MD (Emory University) shares one of the largest north American experiences with transcatheter aortic valve replacement, a technology destined to be “game changer” in cardiology and cardiac surgery. There will ample time allotted for questions and answers from these true leaders in thoracic endovascular techniques.
